This is a 10" longer version of the Sweet Pea™. The Sweet Pea™ has proved to be a very able craft but not the best tracking boat because of its short length. However, the Mark 2 version is a little smoother with better performance.
These plans follow the same format, with simplified step by step illustrations of the process...like building a model airplane. This is another ideal first-time boat building project.
We offer three options for this boat:
A partial kit typically contains the following four items: heat shrink 600D 8.4 oz polyester; Kevlar roving; structural epoxy; adhesive transfer tape (to attach the fabric).
Plans are sold separately and are not included in the Partial Kits. Some people purchase plans long before needing the kit and occasionally the kit is purchased to build custom design.
