The Rob Roy™ is an adaptation of an old design...a cruising Kayak by L. Francis Herreshoff. The hull lines are suitable to carry a good load of camping gear all stowed below decks. The Ultra lite weight is accomplished by utilizing 1/8" doorskin plywood for bulkheads and cockpit framing. The box type design results in great strength.

This is a somewhat more challenging project than the open canoes due to the addition of the deck with the cockpit, etc. There are quite a few bits and pieces.
